PGCB - #78 April Showers

Hello, crafty friends!

I'm super excited to host this week's challenge over on the Paper Girls Challenge Blog. Up here in the Northwest we tend to get our fair share of showers during the Spring, so with May right around the corner, I figured a great theme would be all about rain :) Ya know...April showers bring may flowers, right???

Anyway, here is a little card I put together playing with the theme.

An older paper collection from Piggy Tales called "It's Raining, It's Pouring" was perfect papers for this. I fussy cut a few flowers from the patterned papers and then die cut and stamped the adorable umbrella.

I hope that you all can play along with the challenge. I'd love to see your interpretation of the rain theme! You have until Sunday, May 2nd at midnight (MST) to link your project up to the Paper Girls Challenge Blog.

Happy crafting!

Sweet Stamp Shop Grand Re-Opening!!!!

Happy Thursday, everyone!

I'm super excited to play along and be a part of the Sweet Stamp Shop Grand RE-Opening Designer Showcase! You seriously want to take a look at their amazing new website as well as all the AH-DORABLE stamps and inspiring blog. This is a very exciting month to make purchases with discounts on stamps (and you even can get a free Oolong stamp if you're one of the first 150 orders - starting today)!

We got the chance to play with one of the new stamp sets that are offered with their new release, and as always, I'm completely smitten with these sweet designs. Here is one of the cards I made for the design showcase:

I couldn't resist coloring this adorable image with Copics and adding sparkly "sugar' to my sugar cubes. I mean seriously...look at those little sugar cube with those sweet faces :) *Melt.* of the best parts of the Designer Showcase is that the Sweets are giving away a $25 gift card to one lucky person who leaves a comment on one of the randomly selected designer blogs. So, comment along - follow - and like as many of the designers links - and you might win!!! I mean, I might be the blogger with the golden $25 - you never know :)

To view all the blogs in the Designer Showcase, be sure to visit the Sweet Stamp Shop blog and look for the section of the post that starts with this image:

You have from now until April 12th to visit as many blogs as you can and leave a get hoppin'! There is SO many fabulous artists in this group.

PGCB #77 - Pastel EGGstravaganza

Hello my crafty friends!

Today Cathryn has a fun challenge for us all on the Paper Girls Challenge Blog and has us thinking in pastels!

Here is my take on the challenge:

I made these little Easter gift baskets for my family to share a few goodies. The dies and stamps are all oldie but goodies from Papertrey Ink, and they will continue to be a favorite go-to for me.

I hope that you can all join in on the fun. Link up your project to the The Paper Girls site before midnight (MST) on Saturday, 4/18.

Thanks for visiting!
