Getting Ready for Halloween with the Paper Girls and Double Trouble ladies

Hello crafty friends!

Karrie with the Paper Girls Challenge Blog has challenged the design team to create Halloween themed projects, and as some of you may know, this is one of my favorite holidays. To make this even more fun, the Paper Girls teamed up with the Double Trouble challenge blog, which makes this challenge even more fun! They have a batty color challenge that I couldn't resist - I may have had a lot of fun with this!

Here are the projects I had fun crafting to prep for these challenges:

First is a double page scrapbook layout where I incorporated at least three of the colors from the Double Trouble color challenge (purple, green, and orange).

Next was this sweet witchy card I created to send to a friend. I purposefully used the colors from the challenge (purple, green, and orange) and no bats :)

I colored the cute stamped images (stamp set from My Favorite Things) with colored pencils and added a touch of sparkle to the clouds with a shimmer pen. The card base and shapes were all cut from steel dies from My Favorite Things.

These next two cards were made from scraps and die cuts I had left over from an older paper collection. I was so happy how they turned out.

I hope that you can join the Paper Girls and the Double Trouble ladies with these challenges before Sunday, November 1st. Be sure to add your project to both challenge blogs!

I hope you have a wonderful time prepping for Halloween and making memories.
Brittany

  1. Great layout on your scrapbook page and love your Halloween cards, colorful and adorable little witch and and fun cards. Love the Boo on the third card, so cute used as googly eyes. Don't forget your entry into our DTC Challenge so you too are eligible for our random draw.
