Growing In Unity Blog Hop!!!

With school nearing to a close, I wanted to create a few cards for my kiddos to let them know what a great job they did this year. I couldn't resist using the Lil' Smartie Pants stamp - that darling lil' bird was perfect!

I colored the adorable bird with Copics then cut it out and popped it up with foam tape. I die cut the card base, circles, and pennants using the Blueprints 13 and 18 by My Favorite Things - and also popped them up using foam tape. The glitter heart gems from CTMH added just the perfect balance and touch. At the last minute I decided that the plain white background was a little too much, it was really bright and boring - so I toned it down by adding grey water color stripes for an interesting zebra stripe look (although I wasn't sure I was going to like it - and lucky I loved it, phew).
