Hello!!!
Today is a very exciting day for me on my blog - not only am I a part of the 100th blog post celebration for the Paper Girls Challenge Blog, but it is also my first day as a Growing in Unity girl with Unity Stamp Co.!
I decided that it would be the perfect opportunity to combine one of my favorite stamp sets from Unity, Books a Flutter, with a beautiful sketch from ScrapbookSteals.com's Mojo Monday sketch challenges. I am using Lily 6 - Red sketch to highlight four of my amazing friends that I get to craft with time after time. Just like good books, good friendships have no ending.
I used my ink pads like a watercolor base to paint my stamped images, and then separated on of the images to give a few additional embellishments on my page.
I also used my Cricut to diecut a few decorative shapes, like the 3x4 journal card that I was able to layer different colored paper underneath, and the scalloped circle. I believe all the shapes are from the Close to My Heart cartridges - as is this beautiful paper pack, Hopscotch, that I used to draw colors from.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Please take some time to leave a comment and stop by my blog each day this week for a chance to win 25 random stamps from Unity! I look forward to hearing what you have to say :)
ALSO - if you're feeling crafty yourself, take a few minutes to stop by the Paper Girls challenge blog and submit a project using our theme this week - its one extra chance to win a special prize from our amazing sponsor - ScrapbookSteals.com for playing along! You have until April 2nd to link up your project!
Have a great day!
Brittany
