Growing In Unity Blog Hop!

We got the opportunity to play with the new SOTW "Need a Squeeze" from Unity Stamp Co. I couldn't stop thinking about summer with this sweet lil' stamp, it is SO adorable! Here is what I came up with:
At first I started to craved lemonade, ha ha. So...naturally, I got some, then it made me inspired to make a bright yellow card. But, since I was short on the right color of yellow background paper, I just layered some washi tape on my base and made my own. This card just makes me happy.


 Then I thought about oranges...and found this pretty color combo from a paper pack I've been hoarding for far to long...this may get all used up this summer now! I love these colors...especially with this stamp!

 Hope you feel inspired to create something bright...or at least get yourself some lemonade or orange juice, ha ha!

Yellow Polka Dot Card:
  • Cardstock: Colonial White and Sunset  (CTMH)
  • Stamps: Unity Stamp Co: Need a Squeeze (SOTW)
  • Inks: Sunset dye ink (CTMH)
  • Copic Markers: Y11 and Y15
  • Embellishments: Washi Tape (MME and generic brand from my stash); Sunset Twine and brads (CTMH)
Orange/Turquoise Card:
  • Cardstock: Colonial White, Sunset, Lagoon, and Dotty for You paper pack (CTMH)
  • Stamps: Unity Stamp Co: Need a Squeeze (SOTW)
  • Inks: Sunset  and Creme Brulee dye ink (CTMH)
  • Pens: Blending pen (CTMH); Clear Star glitter Gelly Roll (Sakura)
  • Embellishments: Scallop Boarder Punch (Fiskers); Button (October Afternoon); handmade enamel dots from my stash

    I LOVE these cards Brittany! I especially love your washi tape card. It's so bright and sunny! I really like the way you skewed the two rectangles on the background. It's an awesome composition!

    Really love the rich yellow on the first card. The orange is nice but the yellow is so happy and bright.
