PGCB #73: Anniversary and New DT!

Hello and Happy Monday!

I am so thrilled to officially be able to announce that I have been invited to join the Paper Girls Challenge Blog design team! If you haven't participated in their bi-weekly challenges, I really encourage that you hop over and check out what's going on. These crazy talented ladies always have something fun cooking up, and it's an added bonus that they are so super nice :) I am so happy to be a Paper Girl!

To kick off their anniversary, the challenge theme this week is Anniversary (or love)...fitting since Valentines day is right around the corner, right?!

Here is the Anniversary card I put together with my husband in mind (luckily he doesn't mind the frills...I can't help myself...tee hee):

I used a sentiment from the Loving Words stamp set by Ali Edwards/Technique Tuesday that will always be one of my favorites, and I paired that with the sweetness of Authentique's Smitten paper and some die cut hearts...perfect matches for each other :)

I was inspired by a card I found on Pinterest last year, that was originally published in Cards Magazine a couple years ago. Here is the link to the Pinterest board of the original by Becky Litz (but the link to Northridge Publishing is now broken...sorry). I've been wanting the opportunity to take a stab at re-creating the card with my own touches. I am pretty happy how this lovely lil' card turned out.

Now it's your turn...come visit The Paper Girls site and link up your Anniversary/Love project before midnight (MST) on Saturday, 2/14.

See you here soon!
Brittany
